Snippets

PolyAPI supports structured and discoverable snippets for establishing patterns and encouraging code re-use.

With Snippets, you can create reusable code blocks and easily share them for consumption across tenants, environments, or publicly.

Snippets can be managed or consumed from the PolyAPI web UI, API, and VSCode extension.

A snippet is always copy-paste. It is not a callable in the generated SDK. If you need a shared function teammates call, use a Client Functions (same-language helper) or a Server Functions. Decision table: Choosing a Poly resource.

Snippets may have a language, or they can be JSON, markdown, or plain text.
