Jobs

PolyAPI has a built-in jobs service similar to the classic Cron Job.

The jobs service allows you to schedule functions to run at specific times or at regular intervals.

Jobs are an important part of many integrations. You can schedule ETL jobs, notifications, and more.

Scheduled functions use the three-arg Event convention (eventPayload, headersPayload, paramsPayload). See Events and Triggers. Job vs Trigger vs Endpoint: Choosing a Poly resource.

Job wait timeouts are separate from server function timeouts. A Job can fail at 10 minutes while the function keeps running. See Limits and timeouts.
